Watching Kieffer try to play football 20:51 - Apr 30 with 926 views | Swansea_Blue | is like watching a puppy trying to solve a crossword. Lots of enthusiasm, but let’s face it, it’s never going to happen . He has other attributes of course, so I’m glad he’s here. Having Hirst available again strengths us though (imo).

But is he dropping to halfway a help or a hindrance when we get the ball going.

Absolutely. It’s hard to be critical as he brings welcome experience and professionalism. He’s committed, works hard and gives us another option. His defensive contribution shouldn’t be underestimated either. I loved the way he stopped his run to make the space for his goal - quality footballing Intelligence.

Broadhead looks like he skipped the warmup and had 3 pints.

His touch is always like a trampoline. He’s got other strengths. That’s why he’s never really made it at the top level. Not quick enough and not technical enough. But at the same time, we’re lucky to have him as he’s brought a lot to the group and is a big upgrade on someone like Ladapo (which is who we’d have relied on if we hadn’t had that little re-shuffle).

Nah, I recognise his strengths and value. Although while we’re on the subject I’d argue Wes is more important to us than big Kief. Not that it’s a competition of course. It’s great to have Hirst back and also have the option of Kieffer. We’d probably be up by now if we’d had both since Jan. [Post edited 30 Apr 21:08]

I’d say Broadhead trying to do frivolous FIFA skill moves in the box and loosing the ball after we’ve worked hard to get it back was more of a hinderance

“Inconsistent”. That’s more diplomatic, cheers. Anyway, second half. Let’s get this done.
