After last year's win-less season against all the boys, they've bagged the trophy this time round -
Parent and coach David Gilroy and club chairman Gary Kelly said everyone was very proud of the team's achievements -
"The team had a difficult start last season as an all-girl team in a league of boys' teams. They lost every game but didn't complain and always turned up for training and matches.
This season, with a few new players, they have only lost one game and have won their last 28 matches, gaining promotion along the way. David Gilroy said the Vase trophy win was a major achievement and showed they can play against the boys and match them."
