IMO it’s very much “quantity over quality” for coffee shops in Hadleigh. Paddy & Scott is probably the best but it’s ok, nothing more.

I always liked the Cherry Tree in Woodbridge.

Mainly because the open at 10.30am..

The Missus and I always go to the Cumberland Fish Bar in Woodbridge - great fish & chips and polite, speedy service.

(I know - it's not exactly "ligh lunches" but I just had to mention it).

Is it still owned by the same people that had Zorbas in Saxmundham? Apparently they were shut down recently for people trafficking and drug dealing. Who’d have guessed??

Honey and Harvey is just expensive.

I would endorse The Woodyard and also give a vote to The Whistle-stop Cafe near the station.

Cherry Tree is good too.

Best pub probably The Anchor.
