I felt Carson was just as inefective as JET today, only difference being that nobody appeared to be getting on Academy product Carson's back. Their performances were the only real negatives today in a sea of positivity.
One player who has the ability and quality to put the final pass in, but refuses to work hard and cover ground. While the other covers plenty of ground but wouldn't of found one of our own players with a cross if the game was still being played now! | | | |

I thought he was awful. Probably our worst player.
To be fair, he did a good job defensively tracking back to help Cresswell etc. but he was thoroughly ineffective going forward.

Absolutely, height is needed somewhere in that forward line. I know were retaining the ball at the moment, but on the occasion a long ball was launched it was laughable watching our wingers and forwards attempt to challenge defenders double their size. | | | |

I am not sure about Carson on either wing. I know he's played there exclusively in the first team, but he doesn't look natural on the wing. His crossing isn't as good as someone used to playing on the wing would be, and I also noticed Chopra having a go at him for not making the right run off him at one point - something more accustomed to playing there would have done as a matter of course. |  |
