A stag do in November, 2 weddings in December 18:25 - Aug 22 with 353 viewsitfcjoe

And they all fall on home game Saturdays - bloody frustrating as means I see 2 games 2 months which are 3 days apart.

Can weddings in football season just be banned?!

Sort your priorities - if they are mates, I'm sure they'll understand! ;)

Ban Christmas more like. No games between 1st Dec-5th of Jan for me, just a load of serving up literally tons of turkey, sprouts and roast potatoes.

A combination of holidays, a work trip and a wedding mean I miss four home games in September and October plus Brighton away. The fifth home game in that period, Derby on a Tuesday night, I'll only be able to make if work isn't busy.

I'm hoping Huddersfield is a good match.

One of them lives in Hong Kong so is back for Christmas only time and his other half get enough holiday, that acceptable. The other, who is also the stag do culprit is unacceptable.

A wedding on August 17th next year which I can guarantee will be our first home game....that's only in Woodbridge so may be able to duck away but prob frowned upon as I'm an usher

Made it to Blackburn game as I'd been given time off work, but have to go back tomorrow and won't make Huddersfield so after missing preseason, I'll see 1 game & got to wait a month until the next one!

It wasn't that many years ago that missing 3 games would have made it poor value to get a season ticket, now it's about 10 games!

It's quite daft how the start of the season has worked with 2 home games in the league up to mid sep.

By paying monthly, the cost is still justifiable, I tried to make it to 1 game a month costing £26, now with my st, I pay 32.50 a month and watch all home games. It also helps living 30 miles away instead of 230!

True, although there is also a premium on knowing where I'll be sitting and no hassle factor in buying tickets. It also means that I can decide on the day whether to go to evening matches and only have to think about the train fare.
