Edwards was superb, workrate , tracking back, getting forward, supporting Stearman and the front guys. All round excellent game. That, Carlos, is much much more like it - unlucky you didn't score.
Stearman - Lee Martin - put Stearman cross in the first half on loop and watch how to deliver a ball into the box, superb delivery. Oh and Steady Stearman looks pretty handy on both feet, tackling and marking. Very good.
Finally, Cresswell - when you have 50 yards of space in front you, please, at least sometimes, carry the ball forwards - expecially when we want to keep possession. Other than that, top game.
Tommy Smith - that sort of diving should be saved for when you are in the box son... |  |
