Lawrence: We've opened talks for a permanent move 18:23 - Jan 15 with 5981 viewsMullet

Well we probably haven't have we? Gotta love good old twitter.

What's he on a week? £30k? £40k? Let alone a £5m+ fee innit. Do these people not do their homework?

It's ITK innit.

Leicester were touting him for £5m in the summer to various clubs. I'd suggest his performances have made that fee higher?

Wages are *only* around £20k a week apparently, but that's still way above our structure.

1) We can't afford £5m
2) We can't afford those wages
3) He wouldn't want to sign permanently.

1) We won't pay £5m
2) We won't pay those wages
3) We're currently an average Championship club so he won't sign permanently.

Not having a go because if you didn't, someone else would buy why do we give these idiots the attention they crave? You have to be one sad bastard to crave anonymous attention via Twitter.

Oh and your thread title is horribly misleading. Although I immediately thought yea right I did hold out 1% hope this had come directly from Lawrence.

Truly impaired.

Now he'd likely get a lot more from a club with parachute payments.

If Evans was to rip up his recent strategy and blow big money on a player then Lawrence is that player, however the chances of it happening are somewhere around zero.

I would quite likely piss myself with excitement if it happened but I just can't see it.

I was eliminated week 1. They did a challenge where we got sweet potatoes, tomatoes, fillet mignon, mushrooms and red onions. I sold it all to another contestant for £20 and ordered a Dominos.

Turns out Greg Wallace doesn't like being called a bald headed tw@t and having his head used as a bongo. You can't please some people.

You shouldn't offend Greg, who was Harry The Dog in an earlier life.

Lawrence would be the best player at the club and first on the team sheet every week.

Considering he has only gone out on loans to clubs various, he should see this as a decent chance for him to get some momentum in his stop start career and show everyone what he is all about.

If he can get 10 / 15 goals a season for us for 2 or 3 seasons, then he can go on and sit on the subs bench at where ever after that for the dough....
