That's with the appeal courts isn't it? Besides, the government have a majority (and many others who will vote to leave based on the referendum).

She's just said the deal will be put to the vote in parliament - I think that makes the court decision irrelevant doesn't it? SB

The court case was about triggering article 50, our intention to leave, not the final deal.

Ha! Every one of those areas/sectors (University, Agricultural, NHS) has said they benefit from EU freedom of movement, so there's not a lot to debate other than how we're going to fill the gaps when we leave. We need to be finding solutions to how to make up labour and funding shortfalls in those sectors who have benefitted from free movement of labour. That's what we need to be hearing from our government, not more soundbite crap.

It was the cheap shot at the beginning. Very immature and unrepresentative. It's as if facters or facey have hacked your account.

We will continue to negotiate until we get an appropriate deal i.e. one that allows us to be a soverign nation that can buy products without penalty from the rest of Europe in return for maintaining the status of the city of london.

Why would the EU penalise the UK for buying their products? An independent UK is the EU's largest export market. We have a trade deficit with the EU.

Exactly, they won't, I'm expecting this to get sorted out amicably and quicker than people expect. It's in the interests of the people that count for this to happen

Opinion. But I'm not expecting the EU to want protacted negotiation or pressure of the banking system that might deliver a permanent downturn in the industry.

I am pointing out that the no freedom thing will not be a one way thing and getting a job in the EU may not be a possibility so people will be stuck here on shirtbutton wages.

Seems to be what she's saying, despite the clearly at odds strong statement about the single market. So she wants to be able to behave as if we're in the free market, without actually being in it and having to contribute or adhere to the conditions other EU Member States have to adhere too? And do all this without undermining the EU or any of the other member states. Good luck with that.
