I don't change my mind based on the result or preformed opinions. So, no. Given what I've said about it all night that'd make no sense would it?

For what it's worth, Mullers, that was a performance tonight that reminded me of us vs Wednesday, in Hutchings' caretaker game. It was that bad. Those players didnt want to be there tonight, simply. I'm reluctant to use lazy rhetoric, but it looks like McCarthy has lost the dressing room. [Post edited 17 Jan 2017 22:10]

I would suggest his job, transfer budget and targets are linked to league position more than a cup run. Seems no coincidence we make no effort in it. While we're so short on players, I wouldn't be at all surprised if Mick was trying to ease out tonight and managed it. Interesting thought no?

Exactly, it was a wry smile. But Mick wasn't let down by his players. Those players are a result of his management. We were out-played in every part of the pitch, not just today, but 10 days ago too... at home.

Not really no. Stop making excuses. MM screwed that up and it was total crap. Just like Fulham was total crap, was he managing that one as well? SB [Post edited 17 Jan 2017 22:14]

Looks like Berra wants off and isn't allowed to go. Douglas has gone full Magilton. A "strong" side that actually hasn't played together, you could tell in every department. Just enough to perform but also be awkward, confused and not drain themselves or pick up too many knocks. Looked like a side he knew he could sleep on the fixture with and not worry either way. Of course we'll see how he and Evans reacts in the next few days.

Then why play Lawrence? It's more luck than design which resulted in him seemingly getting through the match without injury.
