...to stand in the freezing cold and watch us lose to a non-league team. Most gutless and pathetic performance I've ever seen from us in 21 years. Also the worst I've seen the fans turn on their own, can't deny I did join in a bit. It feels like one step forward and one step back game-to-game right now. End of tether material. Yeah, it's just a cup game, but our first team with a few B additions should bury a a Conference side any day of the week. We didn't deserve to beat them.

I admit I've stuck by Mick as long as I can, when a man can do himself no favours and prove your faith in them right it's time to cut your losses.
I see it as when you have a mate who's a bit of a d1ck, and you give them chance after chance based on the fact you believe there's a decent person in there somewhere but they still insist on letting you down over and over. Eventually you just stop bothering and let them get on with it. | |
