The marking looked all over the place, time and time again their players had time on the ball, and as you say their goalscorer was able to simply stroll through and shoot.
Games will also get harder as we near the end of the season with teams at both end of the table with a lot to fight for.
Let' just hope we are not part of that latter fight. Too many times I have seen clubs drift downward then be unable to fight their way out. Points are needed now rather when they are desperately needed in April | | | |

For a defensive manager we have a terrible defence. They are constantly out of position, we make sloppy mistakes weekly.

To single out Digby is harsh. What on earth are the entire midfield doing within 5 yards of each other sort of marking one man? A midfielder should be picking up the man that Spence goes to, Spence should be picking up the reciever who crosses, Digby is in his correct position, while Skuse, Bru and Douglas may as well have been sitting on the sideline drink coolade. |  | | |

Looks like a lack of communication, teamwork and awareness to me. Diggers sends Spence off to deal with the man on the ball then retreats to his centre-back position. Douglas, looks like he was already covering Digby and is in exactly the same place that Digby wants to be.
The free man should probably have been picked up by a midfielder, but Doouglas had already covered at centre back for Digby. If Digby had been aware of this he should have taken the free man, and Douglas should have told Digby he was covering for him.
Basically, they need to talk to each other. |  |

Basically, they were all hopeless. I'd mainly blame the defensive midfielders for the first one - and certainly Dozzell - for not being all over their goalscorer, for the second one it does look like a lack of communication and, really, Douglas over-compensating in the wrong position. | | | |
