In that case you had better ask Oldham to correct their website because they refer to the game being previously postponed.

Do you remember when the game vs Middlesborough got called off after about 40 odd minutes and they charged £10 for the rearranged game. That was a disgrace. That was the "beginning of the end" as my fan / club relationship.

Yes. That was a diabolical liberty, only affected non season ticket holders and Boro fans so there wasn't a massive fuss from our majority at the time. Didn't Boro reimburse their fans? That was the first time I really started to seriously wonder about the direction the club was heading.

Even though our owner is a hospitality supremo and many clubs make more from hospitality than ticket sales I guess having an older stadium holds us back in that regard, location makes a difference too But I'm sure Evans would want to sort that part of the club out in the long run?

I don't know about the Boro fans being reimbursed. I do vaguely remember the original game being some sort of special price as well, maybe £20 or something. I was surprised nothing more was made of it. I know a few who out of principal of having to pay £10, didn't bother going to the "replay". Just a shame what the club does sometime.
