3. Nationwide education on how to use the word done.

Speeding fines double every time you are caught.

I quite like the thing they do in Rwanda where the whole country has to go out and clean up their area or do other useful stuff once a month: http://kabiza.com/kabiza-wilderness-safaris/why-is-rwanda-so-clean-umuganda-day/

Ban benefits?

What the are your proposals for the consequent increase in crime?

People need to eat and pay their rent.

More prisons? (even more expensive.)

Some of you dopes need to use your brains before spouting your prejudices.

Yes I know.

I have never been much of a gambler, but I don't understand how recovering gambling addicts stand a chance of abstaining when watching a football game. Half time comes and all the best odds for all the best sites are shouted at them.

Yes. Loads of people have, and they don't all talk about lizards.

I suspect nothing will happen and it will be classified "move along, nothing to see".

If by some miracle the allegations against Heath are found to be true, then there they'll be a bigger crime that's being hidden up and Heath will be classified as a "lone wolf paedo MP", and we'll all nod our heads dutifully and not question that Jimmy Savile was an active paedophile and fixer hiding in plain site at the BBC for 50 years while earning a knighthood and papal knighthood while hobnobbing with the very highest in society.

Because things were different then. He was just a lone wolf paedo... along with a few other dead or ageing B-grade celebrities.

I think people are no longer shocked about any of this. Which in itself is an awful shame.

I think there must be some kind of TWTD law equivalent to Godwins Law, which says that once a thread's been going for 2 days, it always reduces to lizards.

Here's what I do know:

His evil spanned a period of over 50 years.

During that time we worked at the BBC.

He earned both a knighthood and a papal knighthood.

Jimmy Savile claimed on more than one occasion that he could bring judges, senior police, politicians and lawyers all down with him.

And you think it's madness that I think the establishment might want to cover up for themselves?

Why on earth is that madness?

I thought we were talking about Heath

So it's madness to say that IF the allegations are true, there's a massive cover up involving loads of members of parliament.

But if it's not true, there's definetely no cover up.

It's from one verge of extreme to the other that I consider 'madness' CIL
