Good to see them getting the minutes in. Tommy particularly, as obviously he was on the bench on Saturday but possibly not quite ready to make a return, altho he was there if needed due to lack of alternative cover.

I imagine it must have been felt that Tommy Smith could play if it became necessary otherwise I would have thought that Digby(assuming he is fit)would have been the central defender on the bench as he was at Brighton.
It is good to see players coming back, with Williams presumably available again some time in March.
Some interesting selections in the near future assuming no additional injuries.

Quite agree. No substitute for match fitness than playing games. Both have been out for such a long time they need to play matches, not endlessly training.

3-0 Rowe, 73 mins, powerful strike on break, according to our man at the game. Received big round of applause from the watching Mick, apparently.

Sounds like he's making an impression over the past few U23 games.

If Keiffar can get on the bench, no reason Rowe can't, although where does he fit into a 532?

Useful option if looking to change formation. His pace sounds useful on the break as well. Looking forward to seeing him play.

Yes me too, would love to see him play against Norwich and tear them apart!

Albeit that Palace put out a younger inexperienced side, we dominated completely. It was good to see Tommy Smith and Luke Hyam put in a full match. Danny Rowe is full of energy, perhaps needs a bit better first touch but that will come. Adam McDonnell caught the eye when he came on. Great reflex save from Michael Crowe. Andre and Bish whilst showing classy touches did drift in and out of the game.

All in all however, we look to be getting a good squad together with our returnees from injury.

We were crying out for another player like this on Saturday, in the second half we got into good positions to counter attack but lacked the legs

He's well worth having on the bench against Norwich if simply as an unknown quantity. He'd be good to 20 - 30 minutes surely?

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!
