Good piece. You might like James Riordan's autobiography "Comrade Jim: The Spy Who Played for Spartak, Harper Perennial, 2009. ISBN 0007251157, though some Russians have cast doubt upon his claim to have turned out a couple of times for Spartak. He also did a study of the "death match" between Soviet POWs & Wehrmacht soldiers.
