One interesting note ahead of Norwich... 09:20 - Feb 22 with 2507 viewsSomethingBlue

... is that, talking to a few people there who know their stuff, they've done particularly well against sides that play three at the back at Carrow Road but struggled against back fours. Wonder if that's because their attacking midfielders and wingers can thrive and pull the defence around. I'm not advocating that we switch from the setup that's starting to look really promising for us, definitely not, but might be food for thought.

Did they say which other Championship teams play that system?

It depends on the sample - how many teams have they done well against with a back three and who are they? If we're talking about two teams and they're Rotherham and Blackburn, we should disregard it.

That said, I'm sure Mick will make sure we use as much information we can about their strengths and weaknesses.

He finally seems to be overcoming his obsession with matching the opposition, and letting the team's football speak for itself.

A lot of the time against Leeds, Wood was too isolated to cause us too many problems. I suppose Norwich are far more capable of overloading us if we get caught forward and lose the ball.

I think keeping them quiet early on and letting the crowd get edgy is our best route to success on Sunday; the league game two seasons ago we might have looked like doing that and then Johnson hammered that volley in.

I've been taking heart from the statistics about their relative successes against higher and lower half teams, only to realise we fall into the latter category, who they usually beat!

It makes no sense to play into their strengths though. They may not have got all the results they have wanted this season, but they have good players. Just as we nullified Hernandez and Wood barely got a look in on Saturday, we need to do the same to their danger men.

But that shouldn't mean that we change a system that really seems to be working , and with which the players appear comfortable. Let them worry about us.

We look a far better team with our latest formation, the whole team looks more comfortable and us fans are much happier. Norwich with a poor backline are stuttering at the moment and need to be attacked from the onset, get their fans on their backs as they see a return to The Prem slip away.
Norwich have far more to lose than us in this game, it is time that MM puts out a team to go for it, show The Sky cameras that we are a better team than the one that was so poor against Lincoln, and most of all give us SUPPORTERS something to shout about.

What you've said.

The weight of expectation and need to win is on them not us. Let's have a go at them rather than running scared of those schiesters.

They have also played a number of games against 10 men. Their players are happy to throw themselves to the ground so we need a strong ref.
