I know there's a lot of cooking enthusiasts on here so should be a decent thread. What's everybody's favourite dish to cook?
I'm certain I make the best tag bol, but I appreciate that it's a pretty easy dish to get the basics right.
More creatively I like to cook a tartiflette for people as it usually goes down well (as long as the recipient likes cheese). |  |

Beered up, a jar of Patak's Phal sauce, 2 x tsp extra hot chilli powder, half a bottle of a hottish chilli sauce. Add a small can of tinned mince (or tuna, if you are veggie). Then a small can of baked beans, or a shake of frozen peas. Serve with plain boiled rice and top with a pickled egg, 2 if you're really peckish. Lovely. | | | |

A duck and chorizo pesto pasta thing, which appears to go down well at home. That would be my default cooking thing.
