Spent some time with him in Musa Qala in 2007. We weren't on first name terms, or anything like that, but he was there for a fair while. He made time for every man while he was there and I have a great deal of respect for him. Others who came out and only got as far as Camp Bastion, and then needed a lot of pampering, do not get my respect. Ross Kemp lived like the lads out there. I was not there when Becks went out, but I heard third hand that he was very good to the lads as well. | | | |
