That's easy for me.
I wish I hadn't completely fecked my school life up and had studied harder and went into something like The Police or The Navy or similar. Even something like journalism would have been good - especially as it was still the Fleet Street era.
Of course there is a simple explanation to why I didn't. I was blessed with being relatively bright and I knew everything.
To be fair there is one more reason I didn't study more and or go for a career and that reason is bloody ITFC |
Exactly this although girls and fishing played a part as well as football. I somehow passed my 11+ (only 1 from my school to do so) and never at the time realised how big a deal it was, especially as my mum was bringing 2 kids up on her own with dad dying when I was 6.
