Trying to book a holiday in the half term October. Need somewhere warm/hot. Tenerife springs to mind, but the price is a 1/3rd more than say going to Kos or a Balaeric island. Anyone know realistically what the weather is like in the med in October compared to the Canary's ?

Had a lovely AI week in Belek, Turkey at the end of October.

25 degrees + everyday although the pool was a bit chilly 1st thing.

Hotel: Limak Atlantis for reference purposes.

I have been to Mallorca a few times in October and the weather has been good. Not your blistering heat of July/August but usually around 24 degrees.

I went to Munich in October, obviously not the type of holiday you're after but weather was still very warm over there so as long as you're not in the UK you should be fine!

It'll probably be a bit warmer than the Med.

If you want the Canaries, try the island of La Palma. It's very green and quiet. Can suggest an all-inclusive resort.

Has anyone ever looked at their own postings for last day or so? Oh my... so sorry. Was Ullaa

Corfu many years ago, mid 20,s & sunny, sea lovely & warm. Zakynthos the same.
Had a good week in Lanzarote mid October, also in the mid to high 20s.

We have no village green, or a shop. It's very, very quiet. I can walk to the pub.

Been to Seville in early November and I was in shorts most of the week, also Valencia at about the same time a year earlier and that was pretty warm too.

I suppose the mark up on the Canary's is flight time plus greater likelihood of hotter weather.

Tunisia should be a cheap, warm option but probably isn't any longer.

Went to Italy, (Naples) last October and whilst it was shirt sleeves weather to walk around in it wasn't warm enough to comfortably go swimming in. Also got chilly in the evenings.

Cyprus.

Go almost every October, experienced one 4 hour rain shower.

Warmer than most other places in the med, more like Turkey for termperature with the advantage that they drive on the correct side of the road.

That's in the south, right? Did you make it to Seminyak? Fantastic restaurants all unbelievably cheap for amazing food and cocktails (pre Brexit). We rented a villa with a pool and it was heaven.

Am in Malaysia at the moment. So hot and humid but lovely.

No we didn't make it that far. Stayed close to home except a few trips inland.
