A state funeral is a world away from a lavish funeral. I am not saying that the copper shouldn't have a recognised funeral with military honours and all that but a state funeral it is not.

Isn't saying a state funeral is rare a bit pedantic? What were the differences between Diana's funeral and a state funeral? Very little from what I can tell.
