To think we paid £1.1M for David Johnson (an excellent signing) 20 YEARS AGO and we are still bidding the same amount for strikers now in 2017. |
No 20 years ago we paid £1.1m for Johnson and more for Stewart.
Now we are paying out £100,000 for a player who can't get in a non league team.
But the owner thinks it's only fair that our supporters pay a little more each year as we can't expect him to keep investing without our help!
