I'd agree with that.
Most teams will come to Wembley and put 2 banks of 4 behind the ball - doesn't matter how good we might (or, more likely, might not) be, we're never gonna play aesthetically pleasing football against that.
It's all a bit of an irrelevance, though. We'll win this group, go to Russia, get drawn against Morocco, Switzerland and Chile, scrape through in 2nd, and get stuffed 4-0 by Spain in the 2nd round; probably after Diego Costa dives to get Kyle Walker sent off after 10 minutes. |  |
