Looks like an average of between £200-400, unless you go somewhere "Posher".

Mine were done at Great Ormond Street back in the mid 90s. Don't know what the costs were like back then. Think they were all NHS though.

Quite a bit I'd have thought back then, gf has pain in her stomach and has had it for a good while now, had various scans nothing found, but they won't do an mri, so it may be a case of going private now, little annoyed about this but need to sort this now...

Cheers..

My mum had something similar

Turnt out she'd developed a dairy allergy.

Could that be it?

Refusing and MRI.. is that allowed? Sounds really wrong if you ask ne

An NHS expense Rommy, they'll do everything first before an mri it seems, I don't know enough about it if I'm honest, but to have a pain as long as she has then for me it's a real concern, her next scan is in May now....another 6 weeks of waiting...

Told her just to keel over, I'll call an ambulance, fcuk it works for others

With a referral you could get one in Colchester for £200 a month ago.

Sad but true. I had some serious issues with my knee last year, and rather than MRI it to find out what it was, they referred me for physio - didn't get my first appointment until 4 months later and then the next available one was another three months!

I was abroad in January and it got really bad so I paid (just under £100) for an MRI and identified a torn cartilage. When I got back I went to my GP and thankfully got referred for an operation.

What pisses me off is that ignoring these things at first will often lead to greater costs further down the line than just properly diagnosing it at the start.

I have had problems with my shoulders for a while now but they wont let me have one either. Sent me to physio and they gave me daft exercises to do as he had no idea what could be wrong.
