Clinton wasn't the best option i agree but worse than Trump?

Look, Trump is a racist, sexist, homophobic, incompetent lying bully who's few clear plans(scrap Obamacare, more military spending over well....anything vaguely infrastructure related) were clearly going to hurt the people who's vote he was courting but hey, EMAILS.

How much damage can he really do in 4 years?

Brexit will be stopped within 2 years.

The uprising will be crushed.

Top tip: if it's backed by Rupert Murdoch, it's not an uprising.

A lot of Brexiteers suddenly seem to be saying that it won't happen.
I wish it were true, but I can't see it being stopped.
Too difficult for the Tories, apart from any other reason.

My fear is that May and her cronies are too feeble and incompetent to stand up to the tabloids and the handful of rabid loons on their back bench and go for the 'Norway option' which is about the least worst option going and the ultimate results will be disastrous. The failure of Team Boris to even do a study into the likely impact of 'no deal' is at absolute best, grossly irresponsible.

And that's before we get into that whole 'endorsed by the American far right, a few of whom he went on to employ', thing.

Don't worry it will be bigly.

Noises coming out of the EU are that our chaps have been far more conciliatory in our discussions so far than the hard-line rubbish we get spoon fed from May. I'm hanging on to the hope that this suggests we may approach the negotiations sensibly, and the puffing of her chest here is just to placate her hard Brexiters.

Agreed, to not look at the consequences of a no deal option is just mind boggling. But then so was entering a referendum with absolutely no idea what to do if the vote went to leave.

Unbelievable levels of incompetence on show all round from a succession of Tory ministers (I'm not saying any other party would be any better though).

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?

It comes to something when 'bloody hell Ed Miliband probably had the right idea when he played down the chances of getting a referendum under him' dunnit?

I really haven't.

I also have an ad for flights but I've not searched for holidays.

I was plagued for weeks with ads for torches that blind bears. I've nothing against bears. I certainly don't wish to blind one.

Hell, I don't think I've even ever met a bear in person.

Me too ! Maybe they thought I might need one to fight off those of 'the right' on here !

I believe that the EU negotiators have stated that the first thing to settle before any other details are discussed is the amount we have to pay them. This will be a real acid test of how conciliatory we are going to be.

I doubt Trump will last 4 years.

At some point a journo will find a link to something and he will fall.

Brexit, however will happen and I think it will be a good thing.

The EU will be forced to change as it has morphed into something it never set out to be. At present it resembles Mr Creosote with lots of little leaches feeding from his blood.

Assumption is to make an ass out of you and me. Those who assume they know you, when they don't are just guessing. Those who assume and insist they know are daft and in denial. Those who assume, insist, and deny the truth are plain stupid. Those who assume, insist, deny the truth and tell YOU they know you (when they don't) have an IQ in the range of 35-49.

Maybe May is planning her exit strategy, she has signed the letter and made all the right noises for the hard Brexiters (although not enough for the Brextremists). It is not working so she 'with great regret' has to make way for the next puppet...

Next time someone on here asks for voting advice on anything, I'm going to suggest they ask J2 where his 'x' would go and tell them to do the opposite.
Last 18 months, he's voted Tory, Leave and thought that Trump was the best US presidential candidate. And gone through exactly the same process of 'I stand by my decision' followed by 'look I know it looks bad but there was this the other lot were doing', through 'it's all the other side's fault, they were scaremongering/a bit dull/using too many facts' and finishing up with 'might have dropped a b0llock here'.

Yeah, right.

On an escorted walk in the countryside near Jasper, we inadvertently ended up near enough to a black bear and her cubs for the guide we were with to start reaching for his gun......
