So that protest on Saturday..... 08:15 - Apr 3 with 1314 viewsitfcjoe

.....was as half hearted as the performances from the players.

Did any of it happen, I heard a few chants but nothing sustained or that would be taken notice of by the powers that be

Thought enough happened for the club to be prepared for a proper protest. Hence the wall of stewards. It might of course be, looking at the way the game progressed, they ecpected more of a protest.

Non-renewal at 17th April is the only protest that is going to have the slightest effect on Evans. I'm not even convinced that will make much difference to him now, he'll just cut the budget a bit further.

Staying in ground chanting for 10-15 minutes after game would be an easy start. NS was empty within 3 minutes of game finishing

According to the idiots on one of the ITFC Facebook page, there was supposed to be a meet at the station, then they were going to march to the ground with their pitchforks - and then line ME's pockets by drinking in the Fanzone.

It's a strange one this. There's a massive apathy around the club at the moment and as a result of this (I think) there's no concerted view on what we can do about our club dying in front of our eyes.

The majority are fed up, the majority are unhappy but there hasn't been any 1 protest or cause that a large number of people have been prepared to get behind. It's all small scale stuff.

The current ownership have categorically proved they don't care what fans think, so the only protest you can make is not renewing and not going if you're a more casual fan.

I'm just doing aways next season. Still want to follow the team just don't want to continue to contribute to the flawed ownership framework. One chap being judge and jury is wrong.

I know that was then, but it could be again..

Tell me about it, I didn't join in the chants during the game as I don't really feel it helps our cause-as much as I was tempted too.

Stayed after the final whistle in the upper SBR thinking ok I am happy to chant and protest now, and as you say after a couple of minutes I was the only one stood up there.

We really don't help ourselves!

Agreed.

There are far too many ideas floating around and people who say they will do stuff online but when it comes to it for real are no where to be found.

Again, I will be staying after the Wigan game in the vain hope that others will join me in protesting. If they do then we are getting somewhere and we can let Evans etc have it, if they don't then us fans really don't have much excuse to moan and b*tch if I am honest as we are just accepting this mediocrity.
