Without re-reading, I seem to recall that, in Alan Brazil's biography, he states that he was targeted by Torbett, but tried his best to avoid succumbing. Torbett then used his influence with Celtic to make sure that Brazil didn't make it with Celtic. You might say that Town were the beneficiaries, because, otherwise, Brazil's career might have been as a Celtic legend, not one of ours! | |
