Presumably you must have been standing on the hill to see a view of Tobermory without hills in the background. I did get that one right but managed not to recognise Berwick even though I have gazed appreciatively at the bridge in the picture, assumed because a statue looked good it must be in the Athens of the North and not Trafalgar Square, likewise with Manchester Town Hall but I did at least get the Arthur's Seat one right. |  |

No, it was the view along the seafront with a hill from the mainland not far off in the background. Just couldn't remember the mainland being that close.
People used to laugh when I called Edinburgh the Athens of the North but then they saw for themselves. It's just an awful lot colder! | |

Well, most of Balamory was filmed in Tobermory. Hardly ever watched it but surprised to see they made 254 episodes. And Miles Jupp was in it. Still, a B&B owner in Kintyre told me whilst pressing me to vote SNP despite being born in England - Mull, they're all English there. [Post edited 26 Apr 2017 8:51]
