I suppose so although I could live on cheese sandwiches so perhaps i'm not the person to ask. There are loads of combinations though. Are you not a big bread fan? Bread is one of my favourite foods (wholemeal granary). Not sure I could ever get bored of sandwiches. Too many combinations.

Completely agree, it should be a dietary disaster. Although because I've been eating this instead of sandwiches crisps etc I've actually lost a few pounds. However I'm not championing tinned spag bol as a super food! I'd imagine my far healthier evening meals mean I possibly don't go about my GDA.

I have been sticking Birdseye chillies in everything I eat in an attempt to look better and feel better. I have very little control over the food I get. In fact I reckon J2 would do a better job than this guy who put out raw chicken the other day because he forgot to cook it in time for the meal times. I am mostly doing 6 hours on 6 hours off at the moment. So I have just been doing 20 minute sessions in the gym. I have incredibly dropped 9.5kgs in 10 weeks... Just need to keep up my hard work when I get home, which is when the fat man in me sees chocolate and then eats chocolate, a fruit and nut bar is part of my 5 a day right?

So long as you only drop off the wagon that day buh. I always find that if I have an awful day I need the next day to be healthy for me not to carry on eating sh1t. I'll often have a salad for breakfast just to get me back in that healthy eating mindset.

I get very unfair stick on here. I'd be a superb cook on your boat. Get me on there and you'll see. I guarantee your chicken will be cooked.

I like bread but eat too much of it. My aim over the summer is to lose 2 stone & get down to 12.5 overall so I've cut bread out straight away. I'll ditch the tinned spag bol soon too & go for salads.

There's nothing wrong with bread. It's all about calories. I have wholemeal pitta bread for lunch. Good stuff.

One of the best ways to shift a bit of weight is to cut down on carbs.. Bread, Pasta etc. are fine if you exercise and are in good shape/health. I have tried to shift weight for a while and only made reasonable progress when I replaced carbs for other protein items and/or veg as they don't bloat you as much and I feel healthier for it. It's like a cave man diet, just Meat and veg and clubbing dinosaurs round the head.

Decent. Though a bit expensive when you go through your shopping list at the tills at the supermarket. There have been some belting meals that I still use, Turkey meatballs for lunch being one that I have most days. Things like Asian Duck Salad and Tuna Steak salsa are so easy, it's basically cook a whole load of meat and then stir fry some of: Courgette, Pepper, Asparagus, Spinach, Brocolli etc. and then eat. Simple, effective, very tasty (though some can be avoided) but also pretty costly [Post edited 26 Apr 2017 14:05]
