We will probably end up with Peter Whittingham on a free instead of paying a fee for Huws this summer.

Poll: Are you Mick out or Mick in?

Ha, Whittingham would still be better than any current permanent Town centre mid at the moment to be fair!

Poll: We’ve got super KM, he knows exactly what we need. Woolfie at the back…

We were actually very close to signing Whittingham a few seasons ago but couldn't agree wages with him.

Even at 32 though he is still a good player, would much rather sign Huws this summer though, however much it costs.

Poll: Will the new season ticket prices make you renew for the 2017/2018 season?

I read earlier that Whittingham is on 20k a week at Cardiff, and they've offered him a new deal at 8k a week which he hasn't signed as of yet.

Probably the best he is going to get at this stage of his career if i'm honest.

I was gutted we didn't push the boat out for him at the time but can understand it if Cardiff are still paying him wages like that!

Read it again.... he's better than any PERMANENT Town centre mids we currently have.

I'll let you work it out.

Huws is a must, would have both, could do well for one season...and then let our youth players come through. We have some great young midfield players coming through, Dozzell, the lad at Aldershot, Nydam, Patterson and the hot shot Morris up top.
