Bob Hamer. Possibly the worst refereeing decision I've ever seen.
I don't think it's on youtube, although if you aren't already aware this is the best place to look. Delete the space after // or it tries to embed the link/
I can still remember that game.... I wasn't there.
I was on holiday in North Devon with my family and was listening to the game on R5 on my personal stereo (complete with auto-reverse tape facility). Some lads I met on holiday were Liverpool fans (from Gloucestershire, naturally), and I was giving updates on the score. When we got the second equaliser, I let out a loud cheer. What I hadn't realised (as we were concentrating on getting served under-age in the bar), was that a game of bingo was reaching its climax and I'd cheered at exactly the winning ball was due out.... I was soon reprimanded by the bingo caller and gained a number of death stares from the assorted holiday makers playing the game.
Not seen it on youtube but saw it a few times on the August/September 1992 highlights video. A loud cheer for a suberb tackle was then followed by anger with the realisation that Hamer gave them a penalty. Probably angriest I have seen PR.

Jez posts on here as Fife ITFC and has done us all a great service. Here's a clip at 'random':
I'll forgive the lad his Hall & Oates obsession, given his efforts to upload plenty of town vids. Sadly the match in question doesn't seem to be there.

Yep, it very vocal and very angry that night; we got what we deserved when we equalised.
The Leicester match in 2001-02 )the return after Savage had got Sereni sent off) came close though. He got pure sh1t every time he went near the ball and totally bottled it.

5 mins 30 seconds in for the Saunders Whelan tackle
Found myself on the pitch when CK equalised, pitch invasions from the North were quite regular around that time. Dean Saunders haunted us for years, never a penalty, worse than Nugent.

I was there and still remember it clearly - As somebody said - Huge Cheer for the tackle followed by disbelief at the Decision - Clearly not Saunders fault tho.
I am right in thinking that Kiwomya's equaliser was deep into a ridiculous amount of injury time ?
