Never and we have to thank the Gods everyday for him saving us.

Have you considered what would have happened had he not bought the club?

I am not going to defend the appointment of Keane, although I could understand why he appointed Jewell.

I understood why he appointed McCarthy, and he did indeed get us clear of relegation. However it should not come as any surprise that the entertainment element is totally missing from any team managed by him, and I don't think that giving him a shedload of money would have solved that .

The club is in a precarious situation state, and there is a worrying lack of communication from it as to how they are going to address it.

I have sympathy with him over how it panned out over the first couple of years. We felt Jim was only 2 or 3 players away from a side that could challenge for promotion. Unfortunately, he didn't get it right and having been inherited by Evans was always on borrowed time - he didn't handle the pressure well in 08-09 either. Keane completely screwed up and Jewell made his own mess after tidying up Keane's. Evans had given them both money and time.

Then McCarthy arrives, keeps us up and builds our first genuine forward momentum in years through his first two seasons, but gets no real financial backing. Evans went missing when needed in January 2015 AND January 2016, which is when I turned against him. He's set his most successful manager up to fail and allowed drift and inertia to settle over the club again.

Essentially we had the wrong manager when he brought the club.

I think Jim did a good job to get us playing nice, attractive football, but he lacked nous in the transfer market and his man management skills left a lot to be desired at times.

Ironically, Mick would have probably got us up within a few seasons with that initial injection of money.

We'd have found another buyer at some point. Whilst I appreciate that Sheepy said it was hard to find someone, we would have. That's the norm anyway.

Not a total balls up. But several mistakes (e.g. Roy Keane) and some issues which were not his fault (e.g. rampant inflation in the Championship).

Good Lord! Whatever is it?

He's had 6 key decisions to make regarding managers, and I'd argue he's got 5 wrong.

1. Sacking Jim - didn't improve us
2. Appointing a psychotic knob - disaster
3. Sacking said knob - too late
4. Appointing porno Paul - didn't improve us, plus shocking signings that frittered away cash
5. Sacking Paul - too late
6. Appointing Mick - got that right

Arguably you could say he should have sacked Mick by now, but we don't have hindsight to help us judge whether that would be a good decision so let's give him the benefit of the doubt on that one.

There may be some logic behind some of those decisions, but ultimately they were not good ones. He's either unlucky or hasn't got good judgement (when it comes to running a football club).
