Why let them back into the country? They chose to leave to join a terrorist organization. Turn them away from our borders and send them back!!

They are traitors. They aligned themselves to a "state" which considers it's self at war with the UK. Imprison them all immediately ... although no doubt they will get state benefits to help them back up on their feet again.

On the other hand they may provide the security services with vital information. To imprison them they have to be found guilty of a criminal offence, which they may well have committed, but there has to be due legal process.

Exactly. I'd be surprised if Her Majesty's finest aren't showing significant interest in them.

Great work from the Telegraph picture editor on 09:43 - May 23 with 2635 views | caught-in-limbo | What absolute nonsense of an article: "others travelled alone after being attracted by Isil social media recruiters portraying a jihadi bride’s life as a heady mix of romance, adventure and piety." "Foreign women are also apparently fleeing after becoming disillusioned with the restrictions of life under Islamic State in Iraq and Levant (Isil)."

Because we don't live in a police state. How exactly do you protect our freedom and our values by giving them up when you feel threatened?

The important thing is to put it into perspective. Terrorsim is of course shockingly violent but in fact there will be far greater risk to the people of this country today as they navigate traffic and even their own house. If we engage in a war with terrorists on their terms we'll lose more than we can ever hope to gain. But we should be doing a better job of addressing the underlying causes in the Middle East and the disenfranchised young people in our own society who are seduced by all sorts of extremism. That would combat terrorism AND make the world a better, safer place for the rest of us too.
