Nothing to make? Our country offered his family asylum from a tyrannic regime, so we don't know, but i'd assume he was brought up to thank the UK, not target it.
However kids get targeted, fall into the wrong crowds etc. He was known to Mi5, so it does appear he was certainly a person of interest, if not deemed an imminent threat.
Sadly, we can get intelligence wrong, or something changes that spooks an attacker to bring forward a plan. I'm sure we'll find out more in the coming weeks. | | | |
