A striker i'd like us to go in for... 15:13 - May 24 with 1688 viewsDotCotton

Lee Gregory.

Not sure how much he'd cost now as Millwall have obviously just been promoted...

I've always been a fan of him at 6ft 2 would be an ideal replacement for Murphy.

Are you a fan of him at 5ft 9 though?

They turned down £2m for him last summer from Rotherham, so would expect them to want even more now they're in the same league as us.

We've looked at him closely before but decided against it. He's inconsistent from what I've seen, which admittedly isn't a lot.

They certainly did last summer. Were also after Bradshaw (Walsall at the time), only to not cough up the extra £100k that Barnsley did.

Sadly the one everybody but us operates in these days.

No idea when I began here, was a very long time ago. Previously known as Spirit_of_81. Love cheese, hate the colour of it, this is why it requires some blue in it.

L1 clubs normally have a bit of dosh to spend if they are promoted due to the FFP rules in L1 which limit wages to a %age of their turnover.

Think it is only 65% of their turnover they can spend on wages, so if they get promoted and have a much bigger income they have a load to spend

So are we going to have to wait until we get relegated & then promoted again before we spend some proper money?
