1/ Forgot to take my charger to work last week so bought a universal one. The universal one held what little charge there was but wouldn't charge further - but the laptop was and is operational.
Since using the universal charger my branded charger also now won't charge properly.

I would certainly check the rated voltages and amps of the charger and the battery. | |

Have you tried removing and disconnecting the battery and then reattaching? |  |
