I think what is more interesting is his words

"...if Theresa May "backslides" on the UK's EU departure."

Farage has talked of this a number of times as well. Could it be that they know as well as many others do that the idiocy brexit is not going to happen. That it will be fudge, fumble and delay.

That May' s about turn (again) demanding a hard brexit is being done to ensure no acceptable deal can be agreed on and that when voters are finally confronted with the reality they will also back away.

Of course that would depend on May not having a majority to force her side of the negotiations through Parliament. Which would mean, with a 20 point lead in the polls, a few 'own goals'

Let me think.... remove free school meals, frighten old folk about care services, talk of bringing back fox hunting....

hmmm

Is he referring to terror suspects? Nullify the threat - internment / deportation.

This would be the internment that the former Commissioner of the Met describes as 'counterproductive'?

Or the former Chair of COBRA suggests?

There are 3000 people known to be involved in terrorism activities in the UK. How do we reduce this threat?

It's counterproductive in that you cannot gain much information when they are locked up.

I don't doubt that many are watched and monitored so as to see who they are in contact with.

Nuttall is merely playing to the dimwits who he might garner a few more votes off - if only to delay the inevitable.

If you need to have this patiently explained to you then it is likely that it is not worth the effort.

I will only say that all security forces who commented on this matter oppose it, as do the police.

But then what do they know against your 'profound' grasp of matters ?

He rather reminds me of an unpopular kid playing blind man's buff.

He's taken off the blind and has found all the other kids have scappered, leaving him to keep the game going, on his own.

Lost EVERY council seat. Lost in one of the most LEAVE cities in the UK. And is regarded as some Walter Mitty type.

I should imagine the forthcoming election will finish off ukip, if old father time has not culled a good few as it is.
