In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!

Some of us mere mortals have been warning about it for decades from the point of view of the effects on humans, animals & the planet. The fact that big business is being asked to add its clout is no doubt meant to assist in the process of slowing it. (I have my doubts that it will, there's simply too much short-termist selfishness & greed).

Although an awful lot is going on to change business behaviour (integrated reporting, circular economy re-engineering), but like a container ship changing direction it is a slow process and this article suggests we are not turning quickly enough. There will probably be a 'black swan' event in our lifetime that will make everyone sit up and take notice but the necessary action will be too late to have been taken for maximum effectiveness.

Poll: How will we get fourteen points from the last five games ?
