Striker Nicky Forster has completed his move to Hull City for a fee of £250,000 plus top-ups, likely to be related to appearances. The 32-year-old has signed a two-year deal.

Boss Jim Magilton told the club site that the move suits all parties: "It's a good deal for this club and a good deal for Fozzie as well.

"He was keen to talk to Hull after it became clear they were offering him a two-year deal and we couldn't stand in his way with the money they were offering for a 33-year-old [Forster is 33 on September 8th].

"The deal gives him the security of another 12 months and we wish him well."

The striker made 22 Town starts and three sub appearances, scoring eight goals in his year with Town, having signed on a free transfer from Reading where he played alongside Hull boss Phil Parkinson.
