Currie to Millwall?
Currie to Millwall?

Midfielder Darren Currie has revealed he could join League One Millwall during the transfer window. The 32-year-old had been set for a permanent switch to former loan club Coventry until manager Micky Adams's recent sacking.

Currie says he would prefer to remain in the Championship but would be pleased to be reunited with former Town assistant manager Willie Donachie who is the Lions' current boss if he was forced to drop a level.

The former Brighton man said: "He understands my feelings - I have a few clubs interested and I would like to stay in the Championship if I can."

Town are understood to have asked Coventry for £70,000 in return for Currie, but the winger says his value is decreasing all the time: "The price seems to be dropping daily as the end of the transfer window gets closer. Anyone who is patient might be able to get me for nothing by the end."
