Midfielder Martin Brittain has joined Yeovil Town on loan for the rest of the season. Brittain, who signed for the Blues on a free from Newcastle in the summer, spent two months on loan at Huish Park before Christmas.

Glovers manager Russell Slade is delighted to bring Brittain back to Somerset: "It's good to have Martin back at the club.

"He played an important role in the squad when he was here before, and having him back will give us some good width on the right.

"He will gives us more options, and that will be vital as we now move to a critical period of the season."

Brittain is on a one-year deal with the Blues and has so far made only one appearance, as a sub in the Carling Cup defeat to Peterborough.
