Three Doubts for Palace
Three Doubts for Palace

Gavin Williams, Alan Lee and Richard Naylor are all doubts ahead of Saturday's trip to Crystal Palace. The Blues are waiting on the results of more scans on Williams's pelvic injury, while Lee has a hamstring problem and Naylor a bruised toe.

The Welshman's new niggle is not thought to be connected to his previous groin problem and further tests are being carried out. The former Yeovil and West Ham man looks unlikely to be involved against the Eagles at Selhurst Park.

Town's head of sports science Dave Williams told the club site that Lee's hamstring injury has to be treated with caution: "We have to be careful with Alan. He played last season with a tight hamstring and it went in the next game and he spent a month out.

"We will make a late call on him and it's the same with Bam Bam."

Owen Garvan is OK despite suffering a dead leg at at Stoke, while Alex Bruce will be back after a two-match ban. Jason De Vos remains on the sidelines with a cracked metatarsal.
