Midfielder Gavin Williams will visit a specialist about the pelvic injury he sustained in last week's game at Stoke. Town have had better news regarding Owen Garvan, whose knee injury is improving.

Town's head of sports science, Dave Williams, told the club site: "The signs are encouraging for Owen. His knee is improving and we'll have another look at him later in the week.

"Gavin is ongoing at the moment. We have carried out a number of tests and scans and he will see a specialist to see where we go from here.

"It's a new injury that he did in the Stoke game and is situated in the middle of his pelvic area, with the problem connected to his ligament there.

"He obviously missed the Crystal Palace game and at the moment, we can't say how long he will be out for."
