New Deal for Fab

Fabian Wilnis is discussing a new deal with Town. The Dutchman is looks likely to extend his stay with Town until the summer of 2003. The 30-year-old has had a tremendous season and returns tomorrow after a hamstring injury.

Wilnis said: "Of course I want to stay. This is a nice club, in a nice town and I have enjoyed my time here. I see no reason to move elsewhere."

He continued: "The manager came to me and talked about a new contract. He said I had done really well. I didn't have to go banging on his door."

Wilnis's agent is discussing the terms and length of the new deal with the club.

TWTD is proud to announce that we are the new sponsors of Mark Burchill. This season our sponsorship has moved on from Manu Thetis to Will Snowdon and now to Town's latest signing.

Previous TWTD sponsorees have included Neil Gregory, Danny Sonner and Titus Bramble. We sponsored their gloves, but from last season sponsored the whole of Manu Thetis. Fortunately the Town Sales Department don't do the sponsorship by surface area.

When Manu left we were given youngster Will Snowdon until a new signing was made. And Burchill is the man, we wish him luck in his spell and a long association with the club.
