Town's reserves fell to only their second defeat of the season as Norwich won the second string derby 3-1 at Carrow Road. Town remain 12 points clear at the top of the Pontin's Holidays Combination League East Division.
The home side went ahead through Seb Muddel in the fourth minute, but Darren Currie hit back for the Blues eight minutes later with a freekick from the edge of the area after Liam Trotter had been fouled.
Muddel netted again seven minutes before the break, Jai Reason having hit the bar for Town, and Chris Casement completed the scoring with an own goal on 67.
Reserves: Supple, Sito, Robinson, Reason, Casement, Synnott, Currie, Trotter, O'Callaghan (Moore), Clarke, Francis (Rhodes). Unused: Upson, Fenn, Short.
