Duo Out for Season
Duo Out for Season

Midfielder Sylvain Legwinski and defender Richard Naylor will both miss the rest of the season. Naylor has been out of action since early February due to a badly bruised toe, while Legwinski suffered a foot problem in the 2-0 victory at Luton last week.

Town physio Matt Byard told the club site: "The specialist has said that Sylvain needs about six weeks off, so that is the end of the season for him.

"Bam Bam has significant bone bruising and we've been told that he needs an extended period of rest in order for the toe to heal properly, so again we have had to rule him out for the season."

Town's decision to recall central defender Ian Miller from Darlington over the weekend was in response to the news regarding Naylor's continued unavailability. The former Bury Town player, 23, is expected to make his Town debut at some point during the last seven games of the season.

Gavin Williams or George O'Callaghan are likely to join Owen Garvan in the centre of the midfield for the Blues' remaining matches.
