Saturday Ref Switch Friday, 27th Apr 2007 15:50 Saturday's referee is now Mick Jones from Cheshire rather than Nigel Miller from County Durham. The switch was made as Leeds manager Wise was recently charged with using abusive and/or insulting words and/or behaviour towards Miller after being sent to the stands during his side's game at Southend in March, the referee having failed to award Leeds a late penalty. After the game Wise launched into his usual tirade: "It wasn't a push, the ref gave the penalty and then the linesman said it was our player's arm - but it wasn't. "You only need to look at the reaction of the Southend players - they all had their hands on their heads. "I've had problems with him before. I told him I don't want him as a referee. For me he's not good and I don't want him to referee for me again. "I hope there was an assessor here and I hope they put him down a couple of divisions. He gave the penalty and then he pointed the other way. It's a disgrace." Replacement Jones has shown 145 yellow and 11 red cards in 38 games so far this season. His last Town game was the 0-0 draw at Leicester City in August 2005. Get the fastest and most comprehensive Ipswich Town news service at ipswichtown.footballlatest.co.uk.
