Jim Back in Action Tuesday, 1st May 2007 00:17 Boss Jim Magilton was back in match action on Monday night in Oxford United community officer Peter Rhoades-Brown's testimonial at the Kassam Stadium. Ex-Oxford man Magilton was part of a U's veteran side which also included England manager Steve McClaren and former Town loanee Matt Elliott. A young Chelsea side provided the opposition, Rhoades-Brown having played for the London club from 1979 to 1984 before moving on to the Manor Ground. Unsurprisingly, the more youthful team won 4-2 with Rhoades-Brown netting a contrived late penalty in front of a crowd of 5,000. Jim can be seen in an Oxford kit here.
