Boss Jim Magilton says that Richard Wright's move to Portman Road has not yet been confirmed despite informal talks having taken place. Wright has been released by Everton and is widely tipped to join the Blues on a free transfer ahead of 2007/08.

Magilton said: “I have not sat down with Richard or his agent to discuss terms. Richard has expressed a desire to return to Ipswich, but nothing concrete has been decided.”

Wright is understood to want to move back to the area and is keen to play regularly after spending much of his time at Everton on the sidelines. Rangers, Southampton and West Ham have also been linked.

Town signing Wright over the summer would almost certainly see either Lewis Price or Shane Supple move on. Wales international Price, who has a year left on his contract with the Blues, has already confirmed that he would look for a switch if a new keeper joined Town over the summer

Meanwhile, Tommy Miller, another of Jim Magilton's potential summer targets, is widely reported to be ready to hold talks with Sheffield Wednesday, Stoke City, Coventry and Hearts after being released by Sunderland.
