Blues boss Jim Magilton says Town have received no new offers for striker Alan Lee. Hull City made two unsuccessful bids from the Republic of Ireland international a fortnight ago, the latest understood to be £600,000.

Reports in Hull have claimed talks have been continuing ever since, but Magilton told the club site that there have been no developments: "It's gone quiet on the Alan Lee front and I'm delighted about that.

"We can't stop clubs bidding for our players and I have no problem with that because it means other clubs like our players, and that means they are doing something right at Ipswich Town.

"Alan's attitude and application have been top class. He has worked really hard on his fitness over the summer and has looked sharp in training and games."

In addition to Hull, Coventry and Preston have both been linked with the 28-year-old, although the Lancastrians have denied any interest in the former Cardiff City man.

Lee has netted four times during Town's pre-season campaign up to now.
